Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Brooklyn Heights

The food was excellent, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the location couldn’t be better. Highly recommend

Appetizers were good (halloumi, hummus dips, octopus, and shrimp). Lamb chops were average for the price. Shrimp Orzo was delicious. Our sides that we ordered never showed up. Drinks were great and ambiance was fantastic. The service was disorganized. We were told at arrival that we had 10 mins to order (830pm reservation) although there were at least 50 other people seated and 9pm reservation slots arriving, drinks took 20-30 mins to arrive after orders placed because only one bartender for the entire floor. 3-4 servers came to our table but orders we placed with them did not get fulfilled. As mentioned, our sides were not brought to us. They ran out of lobster and a few other menu options. Overall ok experience, but had potential to be much better.

Levant is serving up high quality dishes in the unassuming streets of Cobble Hill. The portions were surprisingly as tasty as they were generous. A lovely spot for a date night.

Fantastic authentic Italian / Sicilian cuisine. As good as some of my favorite places in Catania. A bit “tight” in space but the staff was attentive and friendly. One of my new go to places in NYC.
