Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Greenville

Went with three friends for "Friendsgiving" and the food was exceptional! Were wowed with each of the five family-style courses that arrived. Standouts: 1) burratta, baby artichoke, sesame, warm caper vinaigrette, 2) sun-dried tomato panzanella 3) grilled dorade with sorrel pesto and tapenade 4) eggplant bonifacio with garlic breadcrumbs and tomme 5) pumpkin cake with citrus mascarpone and butternut squash marmalade. Cocktails were outstanding too. Service was warm, friendly, and knowledgable. Atmosphere was lovely and want the hotel bar to be a regular place to meet friends. I haven’t been here in a few years and decided to return as I’ve always loved the ambiance. I remember the food as being good but not excellent. This time it was excellent as was the seevice and everything about our meal. It seems they have really stepped things up a notch since I was last there. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

We've been going to Capers almost every Sunday for the last several years. We sit on the beautiful, quiet, climate-contolled patio. We love all the waiters, but Rick is our favorite. My recent go-to menu items are the arugula salad and the lasagna (or Summer Corn Agnolotti in the summer). I'm hoping that they bring back Butternut Squash or Acorn Squash Agnolotti...YUM!

Limited menu, but don’t be afraid to ask the chef for what you want. My wife wanted linguine with clams ( not on the menu). They made the dish for her. I had a perfectly cooked veal chop. Great restaurant!

Service was great when the waitress actually showed up. Menu was odd but what we ordered we liked. Would have ordered more after apps if our waitress ever returned. We called it a night and went to grab wings. Good concept poor execution.
