- MJ3MJeatVIPHouston •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were seated in the courtyard next to a lively large group, the atmosphere was lovely. The whole staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I have a wheat allergy and my waiter hand marked my menu as to what was safe and which dishes might be suseptible to cross contamination. The cocktails are top notch, so plan to try more than one! For our third, we described what we liked and our waiter suggested an off menu cocktail. We both throughly enjoyed our waiter's custom cocktail choice! For starter, the sunchokes with miso were crispy on the outside and soft creamy comfort on the inside. The white asparagus was better than I've had in Belgium and the Netherlands. I had the tender tongue and my husband really enjoyed the Boudin Noir as a main dish.More infoJewel of the SouthPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• French Quarter•4.8
- RRussellNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review4.0Dined 5 days agoFried chicken does in fact need more time to prepare but was as fresh as could be. Was at table more than forty five minutes before arrival. Partner had the chicken with onion rings and potato salad. Salad had an unusual Cajun taste that was a bit over the top. Onion rings were full-size and tasty. My mixed vegetables were good if not great. Sweet potato crumble was out of this world. Overall we most likely will not return simply because there are so many restaurants to try in NOLA.More infoCafe ReconcilePrice: Moderate• Southern• Lower Garden District•4.8
