Best Southern American Restaurants in Florence

We brought my brother and sister-in-law here for the first time on 2/15/25. Our server Merrick (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was great! Phenomenal dinner, food came out quickly and was delicious. The guys got whole chickens and my sister in law got the chicken sandwich. We ordered fries, spoon bread, succotash, horseradish mashed potatoes, shrimps and grit and macaroni and cheese. We had a lot left over but they wanted to try everything. Last night, the shrimps and grits stole the show though, 10/10! Our only issue, I hate to mention it because we had such a wonderful time but since I am deaf in one ear I feel it may be helpful to someone else; we were seated under a speaker and the music was so loud. So if you’re going and you have hearing issues, maybe ask not to be seated close to where their speakers are. Highly recommend if you love quick, efficient service and pipin hot, yummy food!

Brunch is only on Sunday only!!!! Us and everyone who came in after us thought brunch was served on sat as well. I hope in future they offer the brunch menu on Saturday as well it’s clearly something customers want. The food was very tasting and their own blend of coffee was delicious. This is a great lunch or dinner option but we will be looking elsewhere for weekend breakfast options. I just feel without zozo’s not serving breakfast they are missing out on a money making opportunity for local breakfast.

Had a Valentine Day reservation for 8:30pm and arrived early. Waited about 10 minutes and was seated closed to 830pm. We had our drink order taken within 5 minutes of bein seated. We order off the Valentine Day menu and I order the 14 oz New York strip medium well and my wife ordered the barrel cut filet medium. The food came out prompt and the steak had great flavor. We also order 2 cakes (6 inches in diameter) chocolate and strawberry.

All was well , It was valentines day right a 4:00 pm Doors had just open and there were about 20 people waiting outside. So the place filled up fast and the service was stressed for the first half hour, my biggest problem was when I ordered dessert it took over 25 min. To receive it along with my check? Other than that all was ok.

Great Galentine’s Event! We always have delicious food with cute decorations! Bella was a great server too!
