- NNatalieToronto / Ontario •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFirst of all, the service is phenomenal 🙌 Secondly, it's such a wonderful experience. It's an old-fashioned, speakeasy, luxurious bar modelled after 20s era cocktail train cars like the Orient Express. If you're looking for delicious, high-end drinks in a low-key, classy space then this is your bar! Cocktails start at $35 each so prepare to spend money but it's worth every dollar because the flavour profiles are complex, they taste like alcohol, and all paired with incredible service! 🤩🤑 I was blown away!! I love this place and will be coming back.More infoC SuitePrice: Very Expensive• Cocktail Bar• The Annex•4.9
- SScarlettWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis place has some of the best and unique sushi I have ever had. My favorite was the butter fish nigiri, it came with the most perfect bite of fish and sushi. We got the 44 sampler, the octopus and the tuna belly (limited) and everything was just melt in your mouth amazing. We met the owner, who was such a humble and nice guy, he explained every dish with care and you could tell that he loves what he does because he truly puts his all into it. I would give this place 100/10 if I could. Also the cream that is paired with the sake pairs is to die for!More infoIwamiPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Financial District•4.4
- DDanielSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe finally tried Alo after hearing much great things. We sat at “The Bar at Alo” for a St-Valentines fixed menu. The Service was outstanding from all staff and the food / cocktails were indeed deserving of their Michelin Star. Ambiance and decor in the bar area was a bit dark for our taste. I found the prices to be a bit steep, but not outside the norm at this level. The wine pairing was interesting and will get two of their featured bottles. However, I wonder why they chose to feature a US bottle in their pairing at this particular time. Overall great experience, will likely try their main dining area in the near future.More infoThe Bar at Alo RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• International• Entertainment District•4.8
