Best Seafood Restaurants in Rocky River

Was seated by the window a party of 5 for my son's birthdays. It was perfect. We had the calamari and crab cakes (wish they were a little bigger, but very good) Both my sons ordered the ribeye and enjoyed it very much. I went with Restaurant week and the lobster bisque was amazing. Walleye and lobster pasta were the other two meals. Both were enjoyed. I would highly recommend Pier W. Always a good dinner choice.

The walleye was fantastic as usual and the roasted chicken my husband had was exceptional! Don’t forget the best apple pie ever! We love Don’s!

Professional restauranters are running this restaurant. This is old school service. Front end staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Managers are attentive. Bartender is a pro. Our apps (we had 4 I'm embarrassed to admit) were excellent. The crab app and the mushroom gnocchi app (available in bar) were outstanding. My entre (grouper) was very salty but I will give that a pass because everything else was excellent. If you are seeking an old school fine dining experience with knowledgeable and personable wait staff in Cleveland, it is basically down to Johnny's on Fulton and Blue Point. I put this place on a level with several first rate restaurants in Manhattan and Washington D.C.

It’s a small place and open so it may be noisy for some folks but it was not to the point that it bothered us. If you’re sensitive to noise it might be better if you sit along the wall. The drinks were good. My only thought about drinks are if you’re going to craft beverages you can’t but regular ice cubes in a bourbon drink. The food we had was good we split the fish and chips and the crab legs. I had the New England clam chowder it was a little bacon heavy but I like bacon so it didn’t bother me. All and all it is a good place and I have had fish and chips everywhere and that was my favorite yet.

Great experience as usual. Excellent lobster risotto and lobster bisque. Service outstanding
