    This has been our go to spot for special occasions ever since our first visit. We’ve celebrated our engagement, city hall wedding, birthdays and anniversaries there. Today we celebrated my husband and step daughter’s birthday. It was a nice night, the food was great, and our server Lennon was very good and attentive.     Four out of 6 picked the filet mignon and 2 ,the grouper. all enjoyed their picksThere were a variety of appetizers ,sides and desserts ,chosen which all enjoyed The portions were large enough to share. we were 6 women and were their for date night to celebrate a birthday. Our food choices were off that menu. and this was about the 5th year we have celebrated there . We were disappointed there was a $15 up charge for the steak, but still felt it was great price for the dinners .

    Server Merve provided perfect service, knowledgeable of the menu and good at matching menu items with our taste and interest. The experience was delightful, food was excellent. Don’t forget to leave room for the chocolate moose cake! If you’re going to Char Stake House, do yourself a favor and ask to be seated in Merve’s section to ensure that you have the best possible experience Char can provide!
