Goodman is a uniquely British interpretation of a New York grill, offering the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic. Most of the meat we serve in our Mayfair restaurant is from Nebraskan USDA corn-fed herds, but we also source many rare breeds from the Lake District, including Belted Galloway, Shorthorn and Longhorn cattle. Our other steaks include grain-fed Australian and Wagyu from Japan and Chile. Every steak on our blackboard has been dry-aged on site – it’s the best way to concentrate flavour – then we cook it over charcoal.     I loved the place went there with my better half for valentines. Place was busy but the service was amazing by vedika and mirjon they were very helpful. Nice music and environment. Steaks were yummy. Best place for steaks in central area. Cant wait to visit again.

    We got the Valentines Day set course. It was really packed and they were very busy. The steak for the main course took roughly 40 minutes to arrive but thats okay as it is freshly cooked and tasted great! The starters were scallop ceviche which i’ll give 6/10 and the crab meat and shrimp cocktail that come with 4 sauces which was nice 8/10. For the main we opted for Cote de Boeuf 850g it’s £20 supplemental per person, superb 10/10.We really liked it. We added peppercorn sauce as well. We had champagne and red wine which was also great. The dessert is a special valentines day dessert i’ll give it 8/10. Overall, the service was very good however there was minor accident when the lemon the staff was holding fell to my top and got some lemon juice onto it but thats okay! Overall still a good experience!!

    Wow what a night. Was an incredible meal start to finish. Everything was cooked beautifully. Starters were fantastic the Vietnamese oysters with pork belly which was fall apart tender. The main event was a great cut of rib-eye which was cooked superbly. Overall service was fantastic and just a wonderful evening. Would certainly recommend.
