We had an incredible time at Sumak. My girlfriend and I had dinner here for valentines day and we really enjoyed it. The food was wonderful; it looked and tasted incredibly authentic. We enjoyed the stuffed eggplant and the lamb shish a lot. Both dishes were packed full of flavor and did not dissapoint. The portions are very good as well, enough to share between 2 people comfortably. We both ate very well and still had food left over. In terms of service, I believe this is where they could improve. Our waiter was kind and didn't do anything wrong, but I do believe he could've been more confident with his delivery. When asking for drink recommendations he seemed hesitant on which ones he recommended for us. Other than this slight hiccup, this place was amazing and we will definitely be back soon to try more of their menu.

Had to return to this delightful restaurant with abundant purple flowers and authentic tastes from Israel. All the details are lovingly tended to from the zatar chips to the pomegranate short rib that is unforgettable. Service is excellent, warm and knowledgeable. End with the tahini soft serve for a perfect night.
