- SScottVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy college roommate form early 80's and I started reviewing restaurants in the Metro Detroit Area 4 years ago. We have hit 80% of all the top restaurants (over 120) and we both consider Café' Cortina in our top 2-3 restaurants. I am not sure that I would take children under 14 there, only because of the complexity of the menu/food, and it seems like most of the servers have strong accents that are not always easy to understand. With that said I love going there about every 4-5 weeks and trying something different each time. Last night I had lamb chops. They may have been the best I have ever had. I savored every bite. I have had lamb chops at many nice restaurants. There pasta's are all made in house and are always exciting to try a different one. Make sure you save room for desert, as their pastry chef makes some very unique and tasty treats. This is probably one of the least known restaurants in Metro Detroit, a hidden gem for sure.More infoCafé CortinaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Farmington Hills•4.8
- AArmaDetroit / Eastern Michigan •24 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 8, 2025The food was delicious. We had a party of 8, and no one was disappointed. The waitress was Terica, and she was excellent. She was attentive, pleasant, and engaged with our table. The cost of the food was very good, considering the current climate with high food costs. My only suggestion is not to set a table right in front of the kitchen, especially if you are celebrating a special event or a large party. An open kitchen allows you to see and hear everything that is going on in the kitchen, which is not conducive to the evening. I asked that they move our tables, and they graciously accommodated us. I would recommend Bravo any day or time.More infoBravo Italian Kitchen - LivoniaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Livonia•3.9
