Best Italian Restaurants in Lakewood

The table bread had a fantastic crust with an amazing crunch, but the inside of the bread was soft and chewy, and just so delicious. It came with dipping sauce that included roasted garlic, which was to die for. We had the sacchetti as an appetizer and it was just as delicious as the bread. For our meals, we had the Bolognese and the tortellini and both were so delicious. The portion sizes were good, but not ridiculously large. The amount of protein included was generous. The pasta was delightful. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the mousse and both were a spectacular ending to a spectacular meal. The service was perfect, she took the time to chat a little here and there but never hovered. The noise level was a little louder than I’d prefer but not obnoxiously so. We will definitely eat here again. 

You cannot go wrong with anything you order at Bar Italia! We’ve been here a few times and it’s just amazing. Highly recommend the spicy vodka pasta and the short rib pesto arancini appetizer! Always enjoy the house sangria as well. Must try if you’re in the area!

It was Valentine’s Day, so we knew it would be crazy busy. We should have requested an indoor table, the covered outdoor area was still chilly and way too packed. Our waitress was very friendly. She forgot my wine, but the experience was still very enjoyable. The food was absolutely amazing! It was pricey, but we knew that going in.

We've enjoyed dining at Palazzo every time we eat here. Very warm, welcoming professional staff and owner / chef Rafael. We love the ambience in this dinning room. Very relaxed, never rushed and quiet enough for conversation in a normal "inside voice" level. The food is never short of terrific. At our table last night, people raved about the salmon special, a steak special and the sacchitti. Whether you prefer beef, pasta, seafood or salads, you will only get a very well prepared and delicious meal. Location is a little hidden but it is a very convenient location and well worth the trip.

Such a cozy beautiful restaurant! We had a delicious meal and Joe our server was excellent. A true gem in Rocky River.
