Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials are both within easy reach. We are 24 miles from the Roman spa town of Bath and from the city of Bristol, both with their many attractions. Cheltenham races are 34 miles from the Cat.Apart from these attractions, we are in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with many wonderful walks direct from our front door. We welcome well-behaved dogs.Our chef’s mission is to serve delicious pub food at reasonable prices. Our ingredients are fresh and largely sourced from local suppliers. Traditional Sunday lunch is back at The Gallery restaurant. Choose from two courses or three courses from our menu. Head Chef Jordan Dugan has created some delicious dishes using local and seasonal ingredients, some even from our kitchen garden. Enjoy your Sunday lunch with views of our beautiful gardens. Afterwards why not take a stroll along the paths and visit our beehives. Sunday lunch is served from 12-8. Advance booking is recommended but we will always try and squeeze in walk in’s.
