Formerly a banking hall it was transformed by owner Jeremy Mogford to become Oxford's largest and most successful restaurant.     Absolutely loved it, wonderful food so flavoursome with prompt and attentive service. I had the mushroom croqutes and belly of pork totally recommend it my wife loved her meal too. We shared the creme brule for desert. We also had a great table overlooking the river, cant fault this place at all. We cant wait to book again.

    We were celebrating our daughter's birthday (as we do every year at S&S). Staff were attentive and everything was explained well. The food was beautifully presented, as always and arrived freshly made for us. The staff then gave my daughter a little birthday cake with candle which was a touching thought. Thank you for helping us keep the tradition alive! Being a Monday Evening it wad a little quiet but the staff had arranged diners well to give the illusion of a busier dining experience.

    We visited for my son’s birthday there was 7 of us we absolutely loved the steak platter it was amazing and you get so much! My son had a chicken burger which he said was delicious. I would 100% recommend this place to eat it’s our second visit in 3 weeks and we will certainly be back again soon. The staff are lovely and very welcoming.
