Beautiful old building and friendly greeting upon arrival. Shown to our table in the busy restaurant and service was very good. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Everything appeared to be homemade which was really lovely. This place delivered! Only negative was we were seated upstairs near the corridor where the door is so it was cold. We used to come regularly in the middle of winter for Sunday roasts. £2.0o a head in those days but it was 45 years ago!! We always enjoy our visit and we have been a few times now and will definitely be back again. I also like the fact they help community , run charity events , live music, Quiz nights.
