The Red Cow Pub & Grill is a landmark family run pub that has been open since 1930. We pride ourselves upon our excellent service and even better grub. The Red Cow is not only recognised in Birmingham, but nationwide with customers coming from all over the country. The Red Cow is one of the few pubs which has lasted over 80 years and is still standing! Our staff are notorious for the friendly service, along with the pub being known for it’s homely atmosphere and pure, authentic Punjabi cuisine. If you’re from around Birmingham you would have heard of The Red Cow in Smethwick, it’s a great place to meet up with family and friends, watch sporting events live, and just have a nice relaxing evening with great food. The kitchen staff prepare the cuisine with such love and care that you can taste it! The authentic Punjabi food is prepared using traditional methods such as cooking in a clay tandoor and preparing the food with organic, traditional Punjabi herbs and spices.

Medicine was born out of a discovery of abandoned space, of new possibilities and an inquisitive quality for creating something vital and diverse. An artisan bakery and kitchen, café and gallery, which is rooted in its heritage in both Birmingham and Wolverhampton, Medicine represents a new format of social space. It finds its niche through a carefully curated menu of ethical products, whilst offering a daily fix of cultural inspiration in an environment which promotes a debate about art and culture. We went for pre theatre lunch here, I think most of the other diners were doing the same. It was full so there was a great atmosphere. Warm and friendly welcome and all of the staff were so friendly it was lovely. We chose the rigatoni from the pre theatre set menu and it was amazing. The whole experience, food, atmosphere, service was brilliant. Perfect! Will definitely be going back and would recommend

Good food , one of the waiter was friendly and chatty ( student studying computer science ) one of the waitress was a bit abrupt when speaking to us ,but over service was good . The only negative was the toilet paper in the loos was thin and cheap. One of the hand soap dispensers was broken in the female loo ,just don't expect these little oversights when the rest of the hotel is so well maintained ,the hotel also smells lovely . Would visit again .
