Best Fun Restaurants in Carencro

We moved to New Orleans over 6 years ago, one of the draws was the vast possibilities for dining out. Although we will probably never exhaust our list of places to try we return again and again to GW Fins. It’s been #1 on our list for years now because they consistently deliver the best dining experience on every level, first and foremost the quality of the food and service. Last night was another perfect meal from appetizer to dessert, and Marlon was delightful. Much praise and many thanks go to Gary Wollerman and Chef Michael Nelson.

I had been to Brennen’s almost 50 years ago!!! My father told me to go to Brennens for breakfast and order the “Milk Punch.” And so coming again 50 years later Brennens did not disappoint . Everything about my past experience there came flushing back to me, only this time I appreciated being there even more. It was still so beautiful and the food was amazing. My husband had the Scottish egg dish and I had the Duck egg and Duck meat hash. Superb food and beautiful decor . Don’t miss the Brennens experience. Pictures to follow… we even came back the same day for happy hour cocktails.

We had an excellent set of staff waiting on us and they were very attentive. The food all the way around excellent from the steak to the fish types, salads, and appetizers. That beet salad never fails to disappoint.. We had friends from out of town were wowed by how good the steaks and fish were. One thing we’ve learnt is we will never disappoint company bringing them here and we thank you for that 

Service and food was excellent. Has been awhile since I have been to Prejean’s and the reason was because the food quality had declined. This has been rectified by 100% and is top notch again. Service was excellent and very pleasant and attentive. Was a little disappointed because for a Saturday night there was not a live band to drown out the loud taking tables. All together it was a great night out

They have not had onion rings in a long time!! There always seems to be an issue at this location, though.
