Derrière has the best ambience and food in Limegrove and the best French food in Barbados! Amazing French cuisine with the warmth of Barbadian staff.

Taboras checks all the boxes in big ways…service by Seth was exceptional; food…fresh catch snapper was fabulous; ambience…the sound of the sea accompanied by a lovely vocalist was exquisite; the cocktails prepared by Darriel were fantastic. So many great reasons to return.

Palm Terrace is a fabulous place to celebrate a special occasion, for a romantic dinner or to simply treat yourself. Alison, Renee and staff were very solicitous. The food was exquisite. My husband and I each had grilled lobster tails. The sides were delicious- rice noodles and broccoli, spicy fried rice and stir fried vegetables. We had a bottle of Sancerre and cocktails. Both excellent. The setting/ambience is unmatched. Listening to the waves with a cool breeze and a vocalist singing our favorite 70’s songs. We have traveled the world, dine at Michelin restaurants, and this was one of our top 10 dinners. Very special.

One of the reasons we came back to Waves. We love the food offering here and the staff are lovely. Sure it’s a mix of different ‘Asian’ dishes and there can be some unexpected combinations, but it tastes good! Some people main about ‘authenticity’. Please…if you want authentic sushi, go to Japan.
