Best Lunch Restaurants in Allandale

First time in Austin decided to try Quince; amazing cocktails & food, service was outstanding as well, hostess are really nice ! :) The view is gorgeous will definitely come back whenever we visit Austin again!

Nice Sunday afternoon vibe when I visited. Music was more like a DJ spinning tunes but I didn’t see one if there was. We were seated near the bar at a nice table for two. Server was friendly and knowledgeable, and our food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious! There were two birthday tables seated next to me and we were happy to join in when the waitstaff sang to them. I feel like we were there during a shift change because around 4:00 the music went into a very contemplative and somber tune and our server disappeared. Another server closed our ticket so no worries there. In all, it was a good atmosphere and excellent food so I will return.

Went back to Perry's after an extended period of time for an "Adult" dinner. We pre-planned ahead and asked for a booth, as we sat in the middle of the restaurant last time, and it was a bit "cozy." Our server (Adrian T) did an outstanding job and did not rush or hover, knowing they wanted to enjoy the dining experience. Adrian was spot on and even handled my unusual drink order before dinner. We ordered the BBQ Shrimp and Steak tater Tots (not your normal tater tots that is for sure). The main course was incredible, with the wife having the coffee-crusted filet, and I had the Perry's Special Pork Chop. Both main courses were great and even somehow had room for the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake dessert. While we had stayed away recently, Perry's is now firmly in our dinner rotation. As a side note, we discovered that Perry's has Verdad in their family of restaurants. So 2 for 2 on recommendations.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carve American Grille in Austin, Texas, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The highlight of the meal was absolutely the scallop pasta—an exceptional dish that truly stood out. The scallops were perfectly seared, tender, and paired beautifully with a rich, flavorful pasta that was cooked to perfection. The balance of flavors, along with a touch of freshness from the herbs and vegetables, made each bite a delightful experience. What truly made our evening special, however, was the outstanding service. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of, especially making the birthday guest feel like royalty. She was attentive, warm, and thoughtful, ensuring that the celebration went smoothly and that every need was met with a smile. From the personalized touches to her impeccable attention to detail, her service elevated the entire dining experience. Overall, Carve American Grille delivered an amazing meal paired with exceptional hospitality. It's a place I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy fantastic food and outstanding service in Austin!

Jared was a terrific server! Attentive, courteous, helpful. The bruschetta and pasta bolognese are the best in town.
