Overall, ambience is a bit better than the food. No major complaints, steaks are 4/5 compared to others in town for price. Wine markup average. Gorgeous grounds and restaurant interior. Definitely a romantic date night spot Outside bar and patio overlooks bayou

Food and service were excellent. I still miss the more casual neighborhood feel of the old LaGriglia on West Grey where you always saw friends when you walked in the door and the servers and even the valets treated you like family.

Sat outdoors on the patio and had a lovely meal. Food was excellent, service was wonderful, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The only thing that soured my experience was the parking garage. I used the self parking retail garage at Autry Park Garage. When exiting, the machine did not register my credit card. I called the operator/attendant so I could just pay by credit card verbally and instead of taking my credit card number, he asked for personal details. He started out with reasonable questions like my name and license plate and vehicle make and model. But why on earth would he ask my email address and my home address? When I told him I did not feel comfortable giving that information to a stranger, he told me that I was ”not cooperating” and hung up on me without opening the gate. Now, without opening the gate, where was I to go but remain in the garage against my will? This person abused his position to attempt to gain access to my home, and the company who hired him should be aware that it is inappropriate to ask customers where they live when they just want to pay for their parking. I know this restaurant has nothing to do with the parking company, but perhaps they could pass along the feedback to Sovereign because these “practices” could impact future customers as well. 

It was a very nice evening out. We arrived before the crowd did. The nice think they will take their time serving you or speed you through. It's up to you. We enjoyed the piano and just the over all ambience was great. We took our time, had drinks, appetizers and then dinner. We were never rushed or felt like they wanted the table. Our waitress was chill but at the same time very good taking care of anything we needed. Each item we had was great. Nothing that we wouldn't order again but there were other items we would like to try, next time for sure. If you are looking for a elegant place that doesn't at all feel stuffy this is a great option.
