Set in Kansas City’s historic City Market, Brown and Loe Restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is a blend of “big city” bistro with the welcoming casual flavor of a neighborhood favorite. The food is always well prepared and delivered to the table steaming hot when it is supposed to be steaming hot. The servers are kind, knowledgeable and efficient. The vibe is lively and laid back, but can get a little noisy at peak times since the tables are close together. There is a small back room that can seat a group of perhaps 8-10 and provides nice privacy. The patio has heat lamps and is comfortable through most of 3 seasons. Definitely an urban atmosphere with a sort of old school, vintage feel but with absolutely current food choices.
