Best Authentic Restaurants in Medical District

RUN do not walk - This place is a MUST TRY!!! AMAZING food ….if you are going to pay the amount it cost to eat out then go here where the food is not only real food, that is unique and something you haven’t tried before , but also an experience that can’t be matched !!! Staff is very helpful with the menu and is on their game!!! This place is managed beautifully!!!! All around good vibes !!!!!

I had an incredible dining experience at The Mexican From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for the evening. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The menu offered a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary Mexican dishes, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavors. The freshly made guacamole was the best I’ve ever had, and the carne asada tacos were cooked to perfection. The margaritas were equally impressive, with a variety of creative options alongside the classic ones. The bartender really knows their craft! Overall, The Mexican delivers an amazing combination of excellent food, drinks, and hospitality. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone craving Mexican cuisine. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Selections are very reasonably priced and service is excellent. They described their restaurant as Italian but with a modern flair. That is a perfect way to describe both the cuisine and the ambiance. I had the Cacio E Pepe with chicken. It was delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was creamy but delicate. When I asked if bread came with the meal, our waiter indicated that it did not. However, the waiter recommended their grilled sour dough bread (an additional $4), which came with an herbaceous butter - it was wonderful! My friend ordered the day’s special gnocchi with short ribs that fell off the bone. For dessert, we all wanted the tiramisu. It was not exactly the soupy Tuscan style nor the dry lady fingers style. I’d say a mixture of both. Sorry about the picture as we all devoured it so quickly I had to snap a quick shot after we had started digging in - I’d highly recommend it.
