Best Date Night Restaurants in Chifley

Lovely food, definitely a place for a special occasion as it’s a bit pricey but overall it was a beautiful experience. The pork belly, spatchcock and salad was delicious. Leave room for dessert too as the tiramisu and hazelnut cream/mouse thing was delicious!

We have been here many times and Bar Beirut is like no other place in Canberra the atmosphere is electric during the sword belly dancing and exotic performances by Jazida Burlesque. It is definitely not for the fainthearted with exceptional shows of fire dancing paired with amazing authentic lebanese food with a very wide range of reasonably priced proffessionally made cocktails. The owner and host is amazingly and true master of hospitality he loves attending to his guests and will make you feel welcome. The service and hospitality from the staff is nothing short of exceptional, knowledgable and attentive to your needs. Locale is a firm favourite for pizzas however one thing that bugs me is that the table always seems to end up crowded by the wire pizza racks. When there is also wine glasses, water glasses, side plates and starters also on the table, it all becomes very cluttered and the height of the pizza racks makes everything seem like an obstacle to be worked around. And this was only 2 small starters and 3 pizzas between 4 people on a large round table.

We sat inside the restaurant near the sliding door. It’s the 3rd time we have eaten here over the festive season. The seating was perfect. The food was lovely and of a very high standard. Starters included scallops, prawns and sashimi. Beautifully presented. Salads and vegetables were all lovely and the turkey and beef perfection. We had a wonderful family Christmas lunch and will continue to visit especially at Christmas time.
