Best Casual Restaurants in La Perouse

Boatshed La Perouse has always been our favorite dining spot, and it did not disappoint during our Christmas lunch yesterday. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The ambiance set a perfect mood with its inviting atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious—everything we hoped for and more. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service. A young, charming gentleman named Prince took care of us, and I can’t express enough how attentive, friendly, and professional he was. His service was beyond excellent and made our meal even more special. Boatshed La Perouse is a true gem, and thanks to Prince’s impeccable hospitality, we left feeling truly valued and content. The freshly shucked Tasmania oysters we had this evening is of premium quality, fatty juicy tasty; the best we had this year so far and the dish of the night. O-Toro sashimi and A5 Kagoshima Wagyu are good as usual. The only let down for this evening is the matcha cheesecake; it’s a bit too dry and hard compared to what we had in previous visits. Good friendly service as always.

We ordered 3 dishes to start with but it took like 40mins to come out. Also the waiter served wrong dish and we waited like another 30mins. He didnt apologise or anything. The vibe, food and drinks were good! Will come back if better service is guaranteed.

The food quality, the environment, and the service are very good. The price is reasonable for the quality of food. The down side is the one hour time limit on ordering food and 1.5 hours staying limit. It is quite rush for gathering with friend. Overall is good.

Larry’s is very local to us and it was our first time to try it! We will definitely be back, we all thought it was some of the best pizza we had ever had in Sydney! Such a lovely, easy vibe with incredible food!
