- SSusanKent •3 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoHad a lovely afternoon tea with my mum today. It was a 90th birthday present. Lovely room with open fire in panelled lounge area. Food selection plentiful and enough for us but would of enjoyed a bigger slice of the lovely sausage roll ! Top up of tea and tastings of others allowed if required. Relaxed atmosphere, some diners conversation a little louder than others but it didn't bother us too much. Lovely Christmas decorations. Service ok but appeared to be one lady on her own. She managed ok though.More infoThe Lounges at Eastwell ManorPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Ashford•3.6
- WWilliamKent •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThe host who seated us was very informative with suggestion about the portion sizes and menu options. Our waitress was great my drink was always topped up and checked with us and the beginning and end of our main meal and dessert. We had the fondue for 2 which, whilst very overpriced, was amazing with the fire to roast the marshmallow and the chocolate dip for the fruit was out of this world. The honey butter boneless chicken and chips both cooked with MSG were the best I’d ever tasted. - LLizKent •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024Lovely country pub and great food. The best part of this experience is the menu being entirely gluten free. Such a relief not having to hunt through the menu and ask lots of questions before finding something I can eat. And for the gluten eaters out there don’t be put off. If you didn’t know beforehand that all the dishes are gluten free, you still wouldn’t know when you’ve finished eating. Lots of choice, very tasty, definitely recommended!More infoThe Red LionPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Faversham•4.8
