Matkim offers an exceptional dining experience. It's very clear that the team love what they do and are passionate about creating dishes which are innovative and full of flavour. The food and service are high quality and no detail is left to chance. The recent one hat award is well deserved and is sure to be followed by more in the future. I booked all eight seats for a special occasion and everyone in my party would highly recommend Matkim.

Overall amazing, but one minor note was that it was incredibly loud. It was advertised as a more quiet intimate setting, but the live music was very overpowering and mad it quite difficult to be heard.

Amazing restaurant. Service was very professional, yet personal, from when we entered the day and until we left. Very service minded and smiling personnel. Food was the best Japanese food I have had, and I am definitely going back to try more things on the menu. There are simply too many good things to cover with one meal.

If you are looking for perfectly cooked steak and ribs that are falling off the bone,this is the place to be! Their chicken is also moist and packed full of flavour. We ordered the platter and boy oh boy! Its just yummo! Excellent customer service too! The staff were all nice and looked after us really well.
