Best Date Night Restaurants in Bolton

Our server was great, very attentive and knowledgable. The restaurant is inviting and nicely furnished. The shrimp and scallops with polenta was great, the Caesar salad also very good. Our food was delicious, but my friend’s steak was wrong temp (waitress had right order). My drink order took very long to arrive, but was incredible. Overall a great experience despite the minor mishaps. We’d return here on our next trip.

What an incredible night of delicious food, exceptional service and a beautiful restaurant to celebrate Valentine's. Our server, Jose, was one of the best servers we have ever had. He was fun, knowledgeable, always there when we needed him. We ordered the French Onion Soup and the Mixed Salad to start, both were on point. My husband ordered their version of Steak Frites, a chopped ribeye basted in butter and thyme and served with the best frites! I ordered the Sole, deboned table side, it literally melted in my mouth. Dessert was Chocolate Souffle and Cheesecake...both again were made to perfection. We will definetly be back...sooner than later!

My boyfriend who is a chef and I, foodie, this was the best eating experience we have ever had in our lives. we were celebrating his birthday which happened to be valentine's day and a day in which C&S offered an AMAZING 'tour' of their food. our minds were completely blown so much so that we woke up thinking about our experience this morning. We cannot praise this restaurant enough. we have never in our lives seen such brilliant service. We will return again and get it again. As a matter of fact , we're going to nosh on our leftovers now! I took my wife for Valentine’s Day from start to finish the experience was superb. The ambiance set the tone for the night and did not disappoint The wait staff was very attentive to our needs and made sure that we were pleased with each course. The food was delicious will recommend this establishment to all my friends and family

La Grotta never disappoints. While the food is great, it is the service and pacing that makes the entire experience so wonderful. No pressure to order, no rushing you out after you’re done. Instead of just a meal, it becomes a wonderful event.
