Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history.     Had a wonderful experience! We had to wait just a little later than our reservation and the manager came over and handled it wonderfully and bought us dessert! It was so sweet and made my little girls night! We didn’t even complain about waiting and she was just the sweetest!

    Walked in, I was greeted in a very professional manner by a nice man. I was then walked to a table with my date, and then served water by a server. After this a separate server was explaining the menu to us, and we were told the most popular items. After given some time we put our order in and received our appetizer in a very timely manner. Shortly after finishing that, we then got our entrees, both delicious and extremely fresh. I might even say that in my 18 years of living this is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m not even joking. We were then given a box (food was boxed for us and I didn’t even realize because the server we had was so quick and efficient). After this we got donuts and affogato and again, I was pleased to discover the dessert was just as good as the meal. 10/10 experience, setting was amazing, food was delicious, service was exemplary. Will definitely be back.
