Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Gates Mills

Wonderful experience to celebrate our mother’s 90th birthday (2/15). Want to thank Jennifer for her excellent service and for putting up with our tardiness. We just wanted to enjoy the moment. Thank you.

This restaurant is truly outstanding! The food was unlike any other I’ve had in Cleveland, the service couldn’t have been kinder, the ambience was amazing, I can’t say enough good things about it!

First time dining here and I would definitely dine again. Ambience was very nice. Calamari was delicious, the cauliflower side that came with our steak was delicious and our server was excellent!

David was an excellent server. He was personable and enjoyable to interact with. They were very busy so we had to wait a little longer to order and get our check. He gave us complimentary coffees for the wait. The food is always excellent and the menu has a wide range of prices. We had the Spicy Lobster Tots and split the Chop Chop salad. Both were excellent. My wife had the Cedar Plank salmon and I had the braised short ribs. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is high quality and comfortable. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years.

We had a lovely lunch with friends with a beautiful view of the Chagrin Falls. The staff was accommodating and helpful and our server was efficient, friendly, and unobtrusive. Food was delicious and plentiful. It’s a beautifully decorated space with comfortable seating. All in all, a great choice for a pleasant mid-week lunch. My only complaint is the parking meters in the adjacent lots…I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a restaurant where i had to pay a meter to park and dine. Didn’t care for that, as we had to rush out to put more coins in the meters while finishing our dessert and coffee.
