Best Lunch Restaurants in Mayfield

Our afternoon tea experience at The Ivy at Tunbridge Wells was exemplary. We went for our anniversary and the food, service and ambiance were amazing. We were even given a complementary ‘Happy Anniversary’ desert, which was very unexpected and a lovely gesture. Thank you to everyone who made our experience so memorable.

We had a lovely evening at Essence and felt welcomed and at ease from the moment we arrived. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the food and the fact that it was a decent portion size. We shared two starters and two mains with rice. We found the overall price pretty reasonable and will be back to sample more on the menu! Essence is definitely a great asset to Tunbridge Wells!! Thank you for a fun evening!!

Set menu is a great deal but also stamp dishes such as French onion soup,poulet breton,delicious. The service very good.

First visit and we were really pleased. Delicious food, great ambiance and friendly owners/staff. Would highly recommend.

First time trying the White Hart and the Sunday roast didn't dissappoint. Portion sizes were ample and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but this wasnt an issue. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Well definitely be back again.
