- VvickyjLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was a wonderful evening and the food and service fantastic . The only disappointment came from my 18 yo daughter , her friend and my son who is older were ID checked and because they didn’t have their passports or any ID with them , they were refused wine with their meal and any drinks which slightly changed the celebratory occasion. We don’t normally drink but on a special night out we would not have expected to have this to have been refused. I belive that they should tell diners when booking g that without ID they will be refused alcohol . Never has this ever happened before in my life time of dining out with my family. I am 56 and my husband 66 so it was a shock.More infoThe Ivy Asia, BrightonPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Brighton•4.4
- WWilliamKent •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThe host who seated us was very informative with suggestion about the portion sizes and menu options. Our waitress was great my drink was always topped up and checked with us and the beginning and end of our main meal and dessert. We had the fondue for 2 which, whilst very overpriced, was amazing with the fire to roast the marshmallow and the chocolate dip for the fruit was out of this world. The honey butter boneless chicken and chips both cooked with MSG were the best I’d ever tasted. - SSylviaMonaco •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoHad a great Monday brunch. Good ambience which is often hard to find early in the week, we were glad we had booked although I think there were still a few tables empty. Food was good with ample options for gluten and dairy free intolerances. Staff were delightful and professional. All round great experience with a sea view too. Will definitely return.More infoGlasshousePrice: Expensive• Bistro• Eastbourne•3.6
