Best Italian Restaurants in Waterfront / Belltown

Absolutely beautiful and delightful. Attended for Valentine’s Dinner with my Husband and loved every second of the time. The waiters were kind and genuine, the atmosphere was intimate and personal. The food was special and authentic. The attention to detail made the experience one to remember for an eternity. We would recommend this experience to any lovers looking for a romantic evening.

This restaurant according to our server has only been open 1.5 years. I would say that their ranking should be within the top ten level as everything that we encountered was delightful. The canneloni was tantalizing to the taste buds and the broccoli salad was crisp and flavourful. I could have dined only on the Focacci bread was so good that it could have been the entree. Like most retaurants downtown you should be used to utilizing a parkade as there is no street parking. Yes when in town we will dine there again.

Service was excellent as always! Dishes were delicious. Ambiance is on par with good Italian restaurants around. Will always come back to dine at Assaggio.

This was the perfect romantic (early) Valentines dinner for us! the food was delicious...possibly the best rack of lamb and sautéed calamari that we've had, here, or in Italy! The ambiance was perfect - lower light and sound levels, and smooth jazz (every Thursday evening). And Katie's service was amazing, including her ability to match the perfect bottle of Barbera to our tastes and meal! In business for 50 years, and still the utmost is cast, quality, service, and value. Magnifico!

First time to Pink Door and it did not disappoint! Everything we had was fabulous, the service was great as was the atmosphere! I felt at times I was in the 50’s with the decor and music which was fun! They even had real candles! We will definitely be returning!
