Best Date Night Restaurants in Coatbridge

Never had food, just drinks, cocktails were lovely and the place was beautiful, would definitely recommend and visit

Lovely ambience, attentive staff, had the scallops (first time having them!) and steak which were delicious. Great selection of drinks too. I am gluten intolerant (coeliac) and found the menu to have a good selection of dishes that I could have, with the staff being happy to talk through the options and offer suggestions to modify any non gluten dishes (where possible) to cater to my allergy- the scallops being an example, I just had them without the black pudding. Will definitely be back again!

What an absolutely delightful restaurant & bar! We have been several times now and no matter what type of customer frequents the place, or what time of day it is, we always have a fabulous time. On this occasion we booked for our Valentine’s dinner, and what a treat we had! On arrival we had THE BEST Pornstar Martini’s we’ve ever had, delivered by an extremely knowledgeable, attentive & outstanding barman. The surroundings are SO sophisticated in the bar, a perfect match for the inclusive & diverse international crowd that’s a pleasure to be amongst. On to our perfect, magical & romantic dinner in the beautiful restaurant complete with a full-size tree and views over Glasgow’s crown jewel town hall. I had the beetroot starter and my husband the salmon, followed by chateaubriand with sides and chocolate love mouse all washed down by champagne and red wine. All the food was of the HIGHEST QUALITY excellently presented. A special mention for our steward, Matthew. He was SO friendly and perfectly attentive. He went out of his way to make ours, and all the other lucky couples, evenings’ a perfect experience. Thanks so much to Hazel for a magical experience we’ll remember. We can’t wait to come back very soon.

Good food, piping hot and served quickly. Reasonable prices. Also, the toilets (gents) were clean and tidy—always a sign of a well-managed restaurant. I am sure the ladies toilet was the same, but I didn't see them.

We knew this establishment as a “Navy Pub” which tended to be somewhat raucous. It’s certainly not now! There was an interesting menu with some less common items like Osso Bucco. Our table was close to another with eight or so ‘ladies of around 40’ having a raucous party but fortunately they moved on soon. Our food was delicious but the choice was restricted by several things being “sold out” - and this was only about 18.30. The hen party perhaps? The staff were really excellent and our bill was adjusted a bit to compensate for unavailable items. Overall it was quite a bit better than we initially expected and we will go back in future.
