Best Casual Restaurants in Jacksonville

This was our first time dining at City Grille and it will definitely not be our last. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter, Pascha (sp) was so attentive and made great recommendations so that we could experience a couple of the menu options. And the food- absolutely incredible. Everything was prepared perfectly, the portions were perfect, and we never felt rushed. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences we’ve ever had in Jacksonville.

Excellent Easter Mediterranean food. Back patio has a great ambiance. Will definitely return.

This is my wife and I’s favorite date night spot. The food is always delicious, service wonderful, and drinks made right. If I had to list any complaints, I wish there would be more of a rotating menu and the sitting back by the kitchen area is a little cramped for my big butt (6’2”, 240). To end on a positive, the staff is all simply delightful. From the host the moment you walk in, to everyone you interact with. Nobody seems to have a “not my table, not my problem” attitude. Our server was great, but not a single member of the staff just walked right by if it looked like I was running low or needed something.

The food was delicious and the service was spectacular! The restaurant was beautiful on the inside and out. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at Marriott several times and have enjoyed having a few drinks and tapas at the bar. This time we were in a hurry and a little reluctant as some reviews complained about the service. We were treated immediately and seated where we ordered our wine. We had a salad, the mahi and a desert with coffee. All in plenty of time to make the show.
