Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet.     This place is one and only, unique dining room. Every dumplings are carefully crafted and matched with its own dipping sauce. I loved a la carte menu as well, we had tempeh fry and spirulina noodle in soy broth, so amazing! Worth the travel!

    My regular for Thursday night trivia - a great weekly social event, free and welcoming. Close to trams and Southern Cross and easy to get too - great staff, very friendly, always a convivial fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.

    Overall great experience. Very busy just before Xmas and staff were lovely/ kept their cool under the pressure. Roast pumpkin salad with grilled salmon STUNNING as always. Only disappointment as the fries at $15 a bowl and there were lots of small, thinly cut chips that were over done, so at $15 and a third being inedible, that was not so good. But to sum up, terrific food and a great team.
