Best Steak Restaurants in Point Grey/UBC

Thanks to Tate, Jordan and Andy for ensuring our experience was awesome despite the occasion being less than celebratory.

Excellent service, great view of the city and exquisite food. We had the Ultimate Surf and Turf, very recommended.

We tried Wildlight for this first time to host a guest speaker in our department for dinner. We were a party of 8. The table service was attentive and prompt, with excellent attention to guest issues such as allergies and dietary preferences. The food, when it arrived, was delicious: original, creative combinations of ingredients showing excellent technique and good flavour. We all appreciated the highlighting of local ingredients. However, the food was very slow to come out of the kitchen. We arrived around 7:30, and did not receive our main dishes until almost 9:00. The kitchen was obviously backed up, even though it was a weeknight and the restaurant was not full. I would recommend Wildlight for creative cuisine using local ingredients, but be prepared to wait... and wait... and wait.

Our server made our experience very special with his above and beyond level of attention. The mimosa bar was a wonderful delight, especially with a non-alcoholic bubble option. Everyone enjoyed their entrees as well as the buffet and don't forget to save room for candy on the way out!!
