2 hr table reservation time.1 check for parties 12 and over,In the late 1800's, the Townsend family came to Chippewa Lake and created the estate that is now The Oaks Lakeside Restaurant. Five prominent oaks that stood in a semi-circle on the front lawn gave the estate its original name: Five Oaks. The estate has operated as a dining establishment and bar since 1961.The Oaks has become best known for the glorious wedding ceremonies and receptions held exclusively on the property. We are also well known for our traditional Easter, Mother's Day and Thanksgiving Buffets. We take pride in all of our social and business events that we host. The Oaks offers the finest in al fresco lakeside dining. In the colder months, join us and have a seat next to one of our cozy fires or a lake view table to watch the fall colors or a gentle snow over the lake. No matter what time of year, the sunsets are always incredible. Our seats are often limited, so reservations are advised.

We chose Turtle soup djour, Frog Legs appetizer Duck Aux Cerises and Grilled Alligator Entrees The flavor profiles were spot on! Flavorful, savory, and delicious! Portions were adequate. Price was reasonable. The service was excellent and flawless! Executive Chef Todd , well done sir!

Was seated by the window a party of 5 for my son's birthdays. It was perfect. We had the calamari and crab cakes (wish they were a little bigger, but very good) Both my sons ordered the ribeye and enjoyed it very much. I went with Restaurant week and the lobster bisque was amazing. Walleye and lobster pasta were the other two meals. Both were enjoyed. I would highly recommend Pier W. Always a good dinner choice.

Wonderful ambience and the food was superb: only complaint was that my wife and were placed at a table next to a room hosting a company party and they were extremely loud. The noice ruined what would have been a perfect evening. With that in mind I would still recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a nice evening with good food and beautiful facility.

We went for lunch on a beautiful day in Chagrin Falls. We sat in the patio area. The food was excellent as always and our waitress was very attentive. All around great experience!

I enjoyed an exceptional dining experience at a recommended restaurant; Fahrenheit... The decor, cuisine, and service were outstanding—I truly struck gold tonight! Here’s how it went. Fahrenheit opens with a small loaf of focaccia that sets the bar high: served warm, accompanied by honey, truffle oil, and olive oil subtly spiced with chili pepper flakes. Each bite of this rich, aromatic bread hints at the culinary creativity to come. When I requested fresh-squeezed lemonade, they delivered with a perfectly tart and refreshing glass—a gesture that signals the level of hospitality here. The best places always accommodate, and Fahrenheit makes it effortless. Their take on Mexican street corn? A reimagined soup, velvety like a corn chowder but brimming with depth. Corn, sour cream, shaved parmesan, bacon, and a medley of onions, cilantro, jalapeño, and spices—all come together in a luscious blend that’s as visually appealing as it is bold in flavor. For the main course, I opted for the Vietnamese Pork Chop. The meat was tender and flavorful, and when paired with the lemongrass fried rice and sautéed mango, the plate became a playground of textures and flavors, striking that perfect balance between complementary and contrasting. Imagine the thrill of fireworks on your taste buds. Despite a satisfying meal, the dessert menu was too tempting to ignore. I decided to linger, making space for the Sizzling Blueberry Cobbler. Served warm with a cornmeal cake biscuit, sweet blueberry compote, vanilla bean gelato, and a bourbon-brown sugar Chantilly, this dish crowned the meal in indulgent style. Garnished with edible flowers, it was almost too beautiful to eat—almost.
