Varanese settled in Louisville because of its successful independent dining scene, and he believes that the people of Louisville will appreciate fresh ingredients, prepared with a creative flair and a culturally diverse menu. Varanese’s eclectic menu boasts an array of options from stuffed grape leaves, and fried green tomato salad, to new signature entrées: the seared boneless pork chop, and caramelized orange salmon. This New American style restaurant will comfortably seat 150 guests between its bar, dining room and four seasons patio. The four seasons patio of Varanese is an addition to the building, which has a dramatic 20-foot slate water wall.     We had a wonderful experience at Bourbon’s last night, one of our go to places for a great meal. Everything from the cocktails, to the apps, dinner and desert were all excellent! Our server was also fantastic, just wish I could remember her name! Highly recommend this gem of a place that I hope will be around for many years to come!

    Jeff Ruby's was the perfect choice for my special birthday dinner! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. The ambiance was elegant, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection and left us wanting more. To top off the night, we indulged in the Jordan Shoe Chocolate cake, which was a showstopper! Not only was it visually impressive, but its rich chocolate flavor made it the perfect sweet ending to our celebration. Overall, our experience at Jeff Ruby's was exceptional, making my birthday dinner truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate in style!

    The salad, main course, and desert all excellent. I would go back just for the French Toast desert. I had a lobster/pasta main course that was excellent, and the goat cheese salad couldn't be beat. Good service on a very busy Valentine night. Parking is the only problem, so allow a little extra time to find a parking spot on or just off the busy Frankfort Ave., and bring an umbrella if it is raining. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions where budget is not a consideration.

    My food was absolutely terrific. I was dining with my spouse and my mother-in-law. I had the filet (it was cooked exactly how I wanted), scallops, asparagus, and butter infused risotto. They gave a rose to my mother-in-law, and it made her night. Honest to God, it was the best food I've eaten this year. I loved it. Thank you for making our Valentines a great experience. We'll be back for sure.
