The menu options and wine choices are also excellent. Very highly recommended. It also happens to be a very historic building that was repurposed very appropriately into the excellent restaurant that it is and continues to be.More infoThe Coast Guard HousePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Narragansett•4.7

Everyone enjoyed their food immensely. The texted me to let me know someone in my party left something behind. All around a great evening.More infoJo's American BistroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Newport•4.7

Our food was out quickly and our waitress was attentive. Not only that, but our busboy was also attentive. We went to Sienna after dinner to have dessert and after two cocktails, we had to get the check and didn’t have time for dessert because service was so slow and our table wasn’t ready in time. Would highly recommend Meritage for dates, girls night and I even saw a waiter giving an extra special dessert to a child - so families would enjoy too.More infoMeritage - WarwickPrice: Moderate• American• East Greenwich•4.8
- JJohnNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe hadn't been to Trattoria Romana in quite a few years, and having had a wonderful meal last night, wonder why. We don't usually go out to dinner - preferring lunch instead - but were in the area and decided to try the restaurant again. The ambience is great - we were seated in the room away from the bar, with wood paneling. Service was excellent, and the menu larger than any other Italian restaurant we've been to in Rhode Island. We tried an appetizer that was different from any we've had before - cheese wrapped in prosciutto, then sauteed, accompanied by salad greens, artichokes, peppers, and olives. Delizioso! We both opted for a seafood main course (though the pasta dishes all looked wonderful) and enjoyed the Shrimp Alio Olio as well as the Shrimp and Scallops in a tomato, cognac, and cream sauce. My husband and I rarely eat the pasta, but we sopped up every last bit with the delicious sauces. Bread was served, which is rare these days. The wine list and cocktail menu were substantial and we both found drinks that we enjoyed. Our entire meal was outstanding, and we'll definitely be back!More infoTrattoria Romana In WakefieldPrice: Moderate• Italian• South Kingstown•4.8
