Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Norwood

Fantastic dinner experience. Have dined here before and love the quality of the food and the ambiance. Service was particularly exceptional. Our waiter Tyler was super knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations and so personable. He really took the dining experience to the next level. His recommendations of braised short rib and Chilean sea bass special did not disappoint. Packed full of flavor and pleasantly plated. The chocolate caramel tiramisu was top tier and we even got to try to chocolate Bundt cake with peanut butter whip which was rich and decadent. Overall a great date night find and fantastic dinner experience.

We have visited all of the up scale restaurants in and around Cincy and found Capital Grill to be the best for: — Food quality and preparation are top shelf! — Friendly and efficient staff and service. — Clientele (99.9% of customers are considerate and dress according to the restaurant’s suggested guidelines, but there are those one-percenters who meant to do to McDonalds but the line was too long.) — Ambiance (Decor and very low noise level are perfect.) — Value (Good. Much better than the “big name” restaurants in and around Cincy. We got what we paid for.) Highly recommend Capital Grill!

Service and food was excellent. A little mishap on dessert but nothing that ruined the evening. Restaurant and management of guests was excellent considering it was a busy night because of Valentine’s Day. Good Manager visibility that was actual hands on during the evening. The 70 day dry aged cowboy steak probably my new steak now! Overall great evening and the Valet Team still the best in terms of customer service, being polite and respectful!

Walked in, I was greeted in a very professional manner by a nice man. I was then walked to a table with my date, and then served water by a server. After this a separate server was explaining the menu to us, and we were told the most popular items. After given some time we put our order in and received our appetizer in a very timely manner. Shortly after finishing that, we then got our entrees, both delicious and extremely fresh. I might even say that in my 18 years of living this is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m not even joking. We were then given a box (food was boxed for us and I didn’t even realize because the server we had was so quick and efficient). After this we got donuts and affogato and again, I was pleased to discover the dessert was just as good as the meal. 10/10 experience, setting was amazing, food was delicious, service was exemplary. Will definitely be back.

We had asked the Manager about an item that is no longer on the menu. He explained that it had need removed but they were still able to prepare it. We thanked for the info since we were finishing up our dinner. A few moments later he came back with a carry out bag with the complementary item we had discussed. Was a wonderful and completely unexpected surprise.
