Best Steakhouses in Academy West

It was probably one of the busiest dining evenings of the year (Valentine's Day). The staff was perfect. The meal was fabulous. I was impressed that the upstairs manager spoke with us and even took our drink order.

If you’re a fan of high-quality meats, this restaurant is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of perfectly grilled cuts set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. Service was prompt and attentive, with staff who were knowledgeable about cuts, cooking styles, and recommended pairings. The ambiance was warm yet refined, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions

This was the first time that me and 3 relatives dined here. EXCELLENT! Food was delicious, ambience nice, excellent service and not loud. We will definitely be returning!!!

Got there a bit early. They seated us just a few minutes after the reservation time. The only "issue" was that when the server brought out our food, mine had french fries instead of the grilled asparagus I'd ordered. She took it back, the server who took our order came by to check and went to go check as the first server was coming back with my plate with the correct side (grilled asparagus). My steak and lobster tails were cooked perfectly, the calamari (appetizer) was cooked well--overdone calamari is VERY chewy and rubbery; this was nicely cooked. My husband enjoyed his ribs. The server was attentive without being obnoxiously so.

Wait staff needs training to improve the fine dining experience. We had to ask for most things. Was not offered wine list, coffee with desert and waiter made us feel rushed and entrée was offered before we were done with our salads. I really enjoyed the food quality and the ambience. Please train your staff!
