Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Round Lake Beach

Just love the patio area, fireplace, holiday decorations… such a nice evening. Service great as always, and spinach dip, fish tacos, salmon and fried chicken were wonderful.

Region never disappoints. A restaurant’s vibe is the most important thing to me, then food and then service, but Region hits it home on all. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant and fun at the same time. Starting with cocktails, the martini and old fashioned were perfect. Soups (baked French onion and corn chowder) were delicious and the sea bass I had as my main was, honestly, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Our server, Joanna or Johanna, was knowledgeable, helpful and delightful. These are the reasons Region is at the top of our list!

Always a go to neighborhood spot! High quality burgers and fun cocktails never disappoint.

Great service. Great ambiance It was late so the food tasted like it had been out for a while. Dry and hard bread etc.

Went for daughter’s birthday lunch. Waiter was nice but at times we couldn’t find him. Salmon was prepared perfectly and the salad it came with was amazing. Chocolate cake wasn’t good. Very disappointed. It was very cold and hard.
