Best Persian Restaurants in Wallington

Persepolis is one of the things I miss most about my time living in NYC. I've literally never had a bad meal here. The restaurant is full of friendly and helpful staff. The filet kebabs and must-have saffron chicken, are things I wish I could re-create myself. I took my teenage son, and he loved it as much as I did. Highly, highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Marjan and it was a very pleasant experience. It was Valentine’s Day- always a busy day for every restaurant, but Marjan handled the volume well, including takeout orders. It’s a small place and it can get noisy when all tables are full. But I was pleased to find that Marjan had the 2 person tables on one side and the larger groups on the other side of the restaurant. I had the beef kebab and the meat was very tender. My husband raved about his vegetarian selections and his milkshake. We both definitely want to return soon.

Have been here many times, but yesterday was our first visit in over a year. The food was fantastic! We had several small plates. All excellent. Some tasty drinks as well, and there was live music! A singer and piano accompaniment, but light (did not drown out conversation). I highly recommend.

This is a real hidden gem. It’s on such busy street but inside you feel as if you’re in someone’s home. The service is very attentive. The waiter steered us to favorites and told us others to avoid because of my husband’s taste issues…hates anything too spicy. Everything was tasty and the bread fresh baked. I will definitely be back.

Just moved to town. Have been there twice already. Yum!
