- IIanGlasgow/Lanarkshire •2 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoOverall a good meal in a nice pub restaurant. Food was good quality. I had the steak pie main which had plenty of nicely cooked beef. Wife had the ham and leek pie but she didn’t particularly enjoy the taste although, again, it had a good amount of filling. My chicken wing starter was a bit disappointing. 3 small wings for £6.95 was pretty poor value. Nicely presented but double the quantity in a basket would have been better received! Wouldn’t mind seeing a slightly improved selection of desserts. Service was excellent and the restaurant itself is very pleasant to eat in. Overall, a good meal but it felt a bit pricy for good pub food. We might be back again for a special occasion but unlikely to make it a regular thing.More infoCardross InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Dumbarton•4.3
- MMarkGlasgow/Lanarkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat an absolutely delightful restaurant & bar! We have been several times now and no matter what type of customer frequents the place, or what time of day it is, we always have a fabulous time. On this occasion we booked for our Valentine’s dinner, and what a treat we had! On arrival we had THE BEST Pornstar Martini’s we’ve ever had, delivered by an extremely knowledgeable, attentive & outstanding barman. The surroundings are SO sophisticated in the bar, a perfect match for the inclusive & diverse international crowd that’s a pleasure to be amongst. On to our perfect, magical & romantic dinner in the beautiful restaurant complete with a full-size tree and views over Glasgow’s crown jewel town hall. I had the beetroot starter and my husband the salmon, followed by chateaubriand with sides and chocolate love mouse all washed down by champagne and red wine. All the food was of the HIGHEST QUALITY excellently presented. A special mention for our steward, Matthew. He was SO friendly and perfectly attentive. He went out of his way to make ours, and all the other lucky couples, evenings’ a perfect experience. Thanks so much to Hazel for a magical experience we’ll remember. We can’t wait to come back very soon.More infoHazelPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Glasgow•4.3

Also, the toilets (gents) were clean and tidy—always a sign of a well-managed restaurant. I am sure the ladies toilet was the same, but I didn't see them.More infoArdnamurchanPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Glasgow•4.7

The restaurant was quiet when we were in as it was early on a Wednesday evening, but we had a lovely experience as we had such nice people at the next table.More infoiasg restaurant at the BlythswoodPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Glasgow•4.3

Great range of beers ect to pair up with the wings. Staff on both visits have been very friendly with a good sense of humour and the service is quick.More infoThe Smokin FoxPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Glasgow•4.7
