- TTeddyLondon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had an incredible Sunday roast at Blacklock Covent Garden. The food was absolutely top-notch—perfectly cooked meats, rich and flavorful gravy, and some of the best roast potatoes we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day in London. A special shout-out to James, our waiter, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even with two very tired children in tow, he was patient, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. His great service made a real difference, and we truly appreciated it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a proper Sunday roast with fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!More infoBlacklock Covent GardenPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Covent Garden•4.7
- TTaniaLondon •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoManaged to book a table last minute on a Saturday when the restaurant was in full swing. Busy and bustling but not so noisy that we couldn't converse, and service was friendly and attentive. Ordered the cote du boeuf to share and a bottle of Malbec Reserve. Although the chips and peppercorn sauce were a little cold, the flavour made up for it. Enjoyed the sauteed mushroom side. A filling meal and felt like good value for steak in central London on a Saturday night.More infoBlack & Blue - WaterlooPrice: Moderate• Steak• Waterloo•4.3
- SSittiLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe got the Valentines Day set course. It was really packed and they were very busy. The steak for the main course took roughly 40 minutes to arrive but thats okay as it is freshly cooked and tasted great! The starters were scallop ceviche which i’ll give 6/10 and the crab meat and shrimp cocktail that come with 4 sauces which was nice 8/10. For the main we opted for Cote de Boeuf 850g it’s £20 supplemental per person, superb 10/10.We really liked it. We added peppercorn sauce as well. We had champagne and red wine which was also great. The dessert is a special valentines day dessert i’ll give it 8/10. Overall, the service was very good however there was minor accident when the lemon the staff was holding fell to my top and got some lemon juice onto it but thats okay! Overall still a good experience!!More infoSmith & Wollensky LondonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Covent Garden•4.6
- CCHRISTOPHERLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoExcellent location, ambiance and food. The staff were kind, knowledgeable and quick to attend the table. Food was perfectly cooked and great flavours throughout. Excellent drinks selection; one of the best I have seen. As a bonus, the location of the restaurant gives a great view of the sunset with Big Ben and the northern side of the Thames.More infoGillray's SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steak• Waterloo•4.1

Friendly efficient staff, steaks cooked as requested, lovely ambience --- and boyfriend took me there first in the middle 1970s I think (or early 80s? Thinks it was 70s).The standard has been maintained through every visit AND we have lovely music if we pick our timing right tooMore infoThe ArchdukePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Waterloo•4.5
