It is transformed in the evening into a candlelit cosy place with a very exciting menu full of delicious things to share (or not!) from bread & olives, small plates up to larger plates. Lovely service too. Definitely recommended - if you can get a table!More infoFranks CanteenPrice: Expensive• European• Highbury•4.9
- RRosieLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI took a colleague to lunch to celebrate her birthday and so glad I chose the Fitz's Brasserie. The whole experience from being greeted, to having our coats taken, to being seated, to ordering, to eating and finally to paying (!) was very enjoyable and my friend was delighted and surprised by the birthday 'plate' which was a lovely touch. A big thank you and mention to our server (sorry I didn't take his name) who was friendly, professional, attentive and a total credit to the restaurant. I forgot to mention that the food was delicious as well...More infoFitz's BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Bloomsbury•4.6
- JJeromeLondon •18 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI recently dined at the German Gymnasium in King’s Cross and was thoroughly impressed by its authentic German cuisine and beer selection. Housed in a beautifully restored Grade II listed building, the restaurant offers a unique and inviting atmosphere. The menu features classic dishes like schnitzel and currywurst, all prepared with genuine German flavors. The beer list is extensive, showcasing a variety of traditional German brews that perfectly complement the meals. The attentive service and vibrant ambiance made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend the German Gymnasium for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Germany in London.More infoGerman GymnasiumPrice: Expensive• German• King's Cross•4.2
