- JJulieLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoUnexpectedly delicious late Sunday lunch - roast beef for husband- one of best very long time apparently- sea bass for me, that came with very fresh herb salsa, decent size fish perfectly cooked and fresh veggies. Dog friendly and overall friendly service. If there was a but, slightly too loud music behind me that on a few tracks distracting… We’ve been to much more upmarket places for Sunday lunch and had indifferent food, so great job team Griffin! First food visit but will be back. Thanks.More infoThe Griffin InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Bath•4.6
- AAnnaliviaLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went to The Marlborough Tavern for Sunday lunch and they did not disappoint. Food was first class, great portion sizes and elegantly presented. We all had a Sunday roast, beef and pork belly, it was truly delicious! The pub is also fur friendly and they provided a water bowl for our doggy. We had a table by the fire, it was perfect with lots of space and not too near the main door or the lavatory. The decor is simple and elegant in a traditional design. Will definitely visit again, good value for money with the excellent quality of food produce.More infoThe Marlborough TavernPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Bath•4.5
- EEdwardBath/Somerset •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe came here on Valentine's day for an evening meal while having a golden chance to be child free for a few hours! The food was fantastic (big up the Chefs!), Staff were very polite and helpful with a special mention to the young lady who told us it was her 1st shift. If she hadn't told us, we wouldn't have known! Service was really good and would absolutely consider coming here again for food (Normally come here for a tipple while our toddler is napping as they have a good drinks selection and its our local😅). Also to mention the upstairs seating area is nicely set up with probably about 30-40 covers total which made it a very nice atmosphere for a date night. If you are ever considering booking a meal here, they certainly do not disappoint!More infoThe Duke of OxfordPrice: Moderate• British• Weston-Super-Mare•4.3
- MMatthewSouth Wales •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAs like our meal last valentines day in 2024 the service, food and venue was outstanding. The food was cooked and ready within 10 minutes of ordering between courses and the staff were very friendly and helpful like last time. The venue and dimmed lighting make it excellent for couples. The prices was reasonable for both good and drinks and the food is mouthwatering and definitely still the best place I have been for a meal ever.More infoButterflies Bar & KitchenPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Pontypool•4.9
