Best Modern European Restaurants in Stratford-Upon-Avon

We come to Stratford twice a year and always go to this restaurant, the food and service are consistently excellent. The ambience in the restaurant is relaxed and comfortable, food is served with really long waits and there is a good choice. We will return next time.

Food overall was lovely. However, quite a gap between starter and main. All the theatre goers had left and we just waited. We were seated in the back room area which was cold so suggest anyone going in winter months to ask for the front of the venue. We had prebooked a table for a birthday but unfortunately no mention was made or request for a nice table. Yes would go again only if seated in the nicer area.

Fantastic food served in a beautiful restaurant. Wait staff were available for drink top ups but were not intrusive on the evening. The menu was perfect with a real journey of flavours that had clearly been planned. Overall an exceptional date night.

I had the pleasure of taking my partner to Simpsons for her birthday dinner, and I wholeheartedly recommend the experience. The food was exceptional, and the staff were both highly professional and knowledgeable. The wine selection was excellent, and the thoughtful gesture of a birthday card and chocolates was greatly appreciated. We left the restaurant with genuine satisfaction and look forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely loved it, wonderful food so flavoursome with prompt and attentive service. I had the mushroom croqutes and belly of pork totally recommend it my wife loved her meal too. We shared the creme brule for desert. We also had a great table overlooking the river, cant fault this place at all. We cant wait to book again.
