Best Wine Bars in Allen

From the moment we walked into Capital Grill we felt special and welcomed! Our server Liz was amazing, so knowledgeable on the bar, wine selection and food! We will be asking for her next visit!! We enjoyed our pre dinner cocktails and then enjoyed delicious Lobster, my husband ordered, it was the South African Lobster, he said it was delicious! I was so pleased with the New Zealand rack of lamb! So sweet of the restaurant to serve us an Anniversary dessert, we had already ordered the Coconut Cream pie Dea’s which fantastic! We will be back soon we lived our experience it surpassed our expectations!! Thank you 😍

The food is always exceptional. We have been dining here since they opened in 2010. The high quality food and service has never changed. The Chilean Sea Bass is incredible as is the grilled Salmon. The chef always pairs the with great side items.

We had the most pleasant time here ! We had Steven as our server. 1000/100 in service ! The food was hot, delicious and well proportioned. The timing Of the food coming out in between appetizers, drinks and main course were all in great timings. I would certainly come back !

My wife and I decided to beat the Valentine rush and have our date night earlier in the week. So we took advantage of Fleming’s Tomahawk Tuesday with a twist. Instead of the 35 ounce Tomahawk we decided on the sliced powerhouse to share - 28 Prime bone-in NY strip and a 6 ounce Filet, 2 starters, with 2 sides, and 2 deserts. I like the price point as well. I mentioned that since we came early I was sad we could not enjoy their Valentine special, since the weekend would be crowded. Tom said that the Valentine special was running Thursday through next Monday. Since we were already there I said thanks for the info. The excellent Fleming’s team said we could still get some of the Valentine offering - The seared scallops with risotto and the roasted lobster tail. I must say the beetroot risotto reminded me of a beetroot dish we recently had in a Parisian upscale restaurant. I thought that was very good, but the beetroot risotto was much better IMHO. The lobster was an exceptional addition as well - normally I stick to the basics when it comes to lobster, just butter. But I must tell you Chef Alex blew my socks off when it came to the way the lobster was cooked and the flavor. Another twist was that I was a bit sensitive to wine histamines lately, so the bar staff Candese, Leo, and Tom had some challenges pairing our food choices. Tom and Leo came through with the pairings and the meal was a great success. Needles to say we did come home with a lot of left overs. When we chatted with the managers Haley and Scott about how good the food was and chef Alex came out and asked what we thought. The only thing I said was see you next Monday! If you are reading this - I highly recommend coming to Fleming’s for their seared scallops and the Lobster Tail roasted with parmesan breadcrumbs. I know I am!
