Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Pinole

We had carpaccio for an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the fish special; grilled swordfish on a bed of mushroom risotto; it was immaculate. Both my companions had the chicken parmigiana. The portions were large and well cooked. The seasoning was very good and the sauce was delicious. For dessert we split the bread pudding. Possibly the best I’ve had.

Nopa was a fantastic experience - haven’t been back for a decade and the food and service are as I remembered. Accommodated a seating request and a late guest arrival ; service was friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional. Best porchetta ever tasted; agnolotti was juicy; fried chicken was addicting. Great desserts; good bar experience. Won’t wait so long to return again. Parking is a challenge; take ride share and avoid the stress.

We have loved this restaurant for years and have celebrated many special occasions and holidays here. Servers are amazing -- friendly, fast, accommodating and charming. Food is always outstanding and we love the special menus: Feast of the Seven Fishes, Easter, New Year's Eve, pairings with wines from visiting winemakers, etc.

As always, amazing food and equally amazing service. It is truly a gem. Very creative food menu and equally creative cocktail menu.

Dining at Akemi is always a satisfying experience: the food is delicious, fresh and a good value for the quality and size of portions. I typically order the Salmon miso bento, it comes with delicious white miso soup, salmon grilled with umami rich miso sauce and extra on side, cabbage salad, roasted brussel sprouts with honey mustard glaze and rice; enough food to take a portion home for next days lunch. Love the ambience when they play soft Jazz : pop music not so much since I still like to have conversations with my dining companions. I’ve come here many times over many years and it is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants for all kinds of occasions.
