- RRaymondSouth Carolina •6 reviews5.0Dined todayCharlie's has been consistently good since we started going there some years ago. We went there for our anniversary dinner last night and had a lovely evening. The staff and management were very helpful and the only reason I am not going with 5 stars all the way, is because the desert menu was like all desert menus these days: nothing hot except bread and butter pudding, maybe the creme brûlée. It's so hard these days to find a restaurant that actually makes deserts like Grand Marnier Soufflé's with a creme Anglaise, or crepes suzette or anything that involves any preparation at all and is not served with whipped cream out of a can. Besides that, my wife had very nice Swordfish and I had the breast of duck and we enjoyed them with an unusual Chenin Blanc called Love from the Loire coastal region. The orange mousse in a chocolate cup was as expected and we could have given it a miss.More infoCharlie's Coastal Bistro (L'etoile Verte)Price: Expensive• Seafood• Hilton Head Island•4.9
- JJusticeCaribbean •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe best experience I have had at a restaurant. I went here to celebrate my birthday and was greeted by a warm ambiance, kind smiles, and a clean environment. My waitress was kind and warm and explained the menu and specials phenomenally, and even convinced me to try something new. My boyfriend and I ordered the bison short rib, and the antelope(trying something new) and they were PHENOMENAL. We got cocktails they were presented beautifully and tasted amazing and began the night with an alligator appetizer with house made buttermilk ranch that was everything. All of the staff consistently checked on us and our food was brought out promptly and hot! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!More infoAlligator SoulPrice: Very Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Historic District - North•4.9

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of unique and comfort. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcomed. The food was exceptional, with every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The fried green tomatoes as appetizer and the pecan fried chicken were absolute standouts. You can tell the chef puts great care and thought into the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable experience. ♥️More infoThe Pirates' HousePrice: Moderate• American• Historic District - North•4.4
